WACCE

The West Africa Centre for Counter-Extremism (WACCE) was created in 2013 as an independent civil society organization. It is focused on counter extremism research and outreach in West Africa, especially in Ghana, Nigeria and Mali.

The work developed by WACCE intends to uncover the underpinnings of radicalization and violent extremism as an effective contribution to State and Regional counter-terrorism policy and strategy as well as building sustainable peaceful climate for development.
