The son of Christianne Boudreau joined Islamic State and died in Syria. She was one of the first mothers to share her pain with the world and she set up the organisation Mothers for Life to provide support and councelling to other parents who faced the same problem. Mothers for Life was the first organisation that became partner of Words Heal. Despite all her suffering, Christianne managed to help other parents and this is the main message of this video: many parents who lost their sons and daughters due to radicalisation have played a key role in preventing other youngsters from having the same fate.
